Amex Affiliated Hotel Loyalty Program in LV
Since SPG let go of Planet Hollywood recently, Are their any properties on the Las Vegas Strip which have a hotel loyalty program which would be beneficial for an avid Amex card member and MR points user?

Nothing that I know of that will earn you MR points, but Vegas is one of the best locations for FHR hotels. Bellagio seems to always be a discount off of the best available rate. Venetian and Wynn/Encore are also typically good deals.

It's tough to find a strip hotel that will play the points game. As troyb mentioned, the FHR program can provide some nice perks. For example, they have a standard 15% discount at the Skylofts, which when combined with an upgrade, can be a nice deal.
Here are the AmEx FHR hotels in Las Vegas:
Mandarin Oriental
Venetian
Bellagio
Four Seasons
Skylofts
THEhotel at Mandalay Bay
Wynn/Encore
If none of those look good, then Signature Hotels & Resorts has some different properties which provide similar (though not quite as good as AmEx FHR, IMHO) benefits:
Caesars Palace
MGM Grand Hotel & Casino
Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino
The Signature at MGM Grand
Trump International Hotel Las Vegas
