I'm not aware of this - you get MCE on international flights but I'm Plat Pro and never seen complimentary upgrades to PE

I give them credit for rolling out usable WiFi on the regional fleet. Delta does not have this so I avoid the DL 175s when able.

It's still easy to check in with a human (staffed priority desks) who will tag your bags and print your boarding pass, and the kiosk will easily print boarding passes. UA and AS really annoy me on both of those fronts.
The way to get assistance at the AC has not changed and most agents are still great. Miles still have value (note to AA: this is the reason I continue to stick around the last 5-10 years) ) Also DL and UA kiosks don't print paper boarding passes? Is that for real? What the heck - I ALWAYS have paper boarding passes with me, way quicker, much less fumbling, zero chance that my phone freezes up (or most likely one of my kids snatched it from me or something) - DL and UA kiosks don't even give the option to print BPs? Insane.

Few things:
- Route network works for me - Miles have good value compared to others - Loyalty points for status from more sources than just flying - Flights being on time is far better than 2 years ago when it seemed 75% of my flights were delayed. |

I think that applies only if you have a waitlisted SWU that doesn’t clear.

They are on thin receipt paper vs cardstock, however. |
Safety
EXP support line Occasional note from FA to EXPs |
I'll probably get flamed for this, but here goes:
DL, and their adoring fans on Airliners.net, constantly remind everyone how perfect Delta is. Prolonged exposure to Delta fans can be too much - sort of like how your stomach feels a little sour after you've had two pieces too many of Halloween candy. AA, and their supporters, don't take American as seriously as DL supporters take their favorite airline. DL supporters truly believe that Delta is incapable of doing anything wrong, which makes discussion threads about Delta here (and, much worse, on Airliners.net), irritating. It's nice to have an honest, sincere, discussion about AA's strengths and weaknesses. We couldn't have a thread like this in the Delta forum, because the die hard DL fans would rip apart anyone who says anything even remotely negative about Delta. |
The first one is a niche one that only applies to some of us but:
Decent frequencies to smaller airports in the SE even if we have to go to CLT :) - I can't really complain as when I moved here we had nonstops to just CLT (US/AA) and ATL (DL). Now AA can get me to CLT,DFW,MIA,ORD,DCA,LGA,and BOS. Clubs may not be as nice as DL or UA offerings, but lounge agents in my experience are EXTREMELY helpful |

cant speak for DL, as my recent flights have been last minute and and I used my phone, but UA's kiosks and staff can and will print boarding passes.
They are on thin receipt paper vs cardstock, however. I love AA’s legacy style bp’s printed on ticket stock. Sadly this seems to have been replaced with white paper at many stations but still better than UA and DL with their wafer thin receipts. |

We are now down to only PHX (ugh) and DFW (sigh). Compounding this problem, AS took away RNO-LAX in favor of RNO-SAN (yeah, because that's a super helpful route). This means that our only TPAC connections from RNO on OW are through SEA on AS. But let's be real - AA is completely irrelevant out west. |

DL fan here (switched primary loyalty from AA 1.5 years ago), but this is a good post. I think it more accurately describes a.net DL posts because in the DL forum here you'll certainly get complaints about crew scheduling, 767s, and various other things. But fanboying has been a thing on the Internet since forever. It's up to those of us who can be fair to contribute helpful content rather than doing an airline's PR work.
The average quality of posts airliners.net is absolutely terrible. It's 13 year old fanboys who dont spend enough time outside. |
Excessive AA fanboy activity used to be a thing here, Isom and his predecessors took care of that ;)
