Slow posting of flights
 

Anyone experiencing slow posting of flights recently? In recent history, flights seem to post pretty quickly (I'd even seen a prior segment post when I was on the second leg), but I had two flights Thursday that haven't posted two days later. No big deal but I'm surprised they haven't posted yet.

All flights so far have posted by the next day.

I fly this upcoming Friday and Sunday, so I will keep an eye out for anything amiss.

If history is to be believed, the miles will post by Saturday morning and Monday morning.

Yeah, I noticed that with my flights in March. They took close to 48 hours to post. I was affected by irrops and had to switch flights so I was assuming that may have had something to do with it.

Mine were both on-time. Maybe that's considered IRROP these days.

Mine from this past week have showed up while I was still in the air.

Most of my miles have posted pretty quickly, but there are a couple of itineraries that I've had that are particularly complex that have taken longer to post, mostly around the world reservation flights.

Flight I’m on right now is already posted. Last weeks flight took ~36 hours to post.
AA=predictably unpredictably!

I flew April 1st - no posting yet...
My wife flew Apr 3 & 4, both credited by the tiime each flight landed
Gonna file for missing flight credit if for mine if it doesn't click in overnight

Update - flew two segments Thursday, it's Sunday and they still haven't posted (as well as the 5k flight streak LP bonus that's triggered & 1k LP bonus for 2 segments). Not critical but it's just one more thing to track & make sure happens...

My outbound on BA ticket and metal posted to my AA account within 3 days but not the return has not posted in over 11 days.

Now Monday and still not posted.

Added: called EXP desk and they connected me with the Advantage Desk - turns out the flights are in their system showing posting of miles "pending" - why "pending" when the flights were flown 4 days ago? BTW - they told me that miles should post within 1-3 days. Again, not the end of the world but a little irritating at best.

My miles are standing in the queue with yours as I got the same explanation yesterday when I phoned in to inquire.

I wonder if they have some backlog of posting because of credit card statements being split for loyalty points. It has been 12 days since my credit card statement date. I did get miles about a week ago, but still no loyalty points. I just wonder if they are running into some processing issues and it is causing a backlog with other stuff.

Well, it's been a week since we flew 2 segments and neither has posted. We're mice in a wheel of AA's construction, at least they can show us the cheese we earned. 🧀🥴
