Help with delay reason

The admirals club isn’t able to help. Needing to know what the issue is with 4950 out of FNT. Keeps delaying 10 minutes at a time. Plane made it there early and doesn’t appear to be any weather anywhere that could be the issue.

EF just says system generated delay.

May want to look at the weather again. ORD is currently in a ground stop due to a storm that is passing through.

ORD has a ground stop and all inbounds are being held at their origin: https://www.fly.faa.gov/adv/adv_othe...ate=07/10/2025

I am sitting at ORD and no weather and seeing planes back out right now. This flight should have been here by now.

that is what the admirals club said as well. It had been sitting in FNT for over an hour. For those saying weather, that doesn’t make sense. The flight could have been here by now and there is no weather yet and it looks like a small band of weather on the way.

Departures are departing to the east, away from the storms. The storms out west are preventing arrivals.

FAA put a stop to inbound arrivals. Not much any airline can do until it's lifted.

gotcha. Would be nice if admirals club agents or website had that info.

Does OO use AA's systems for dispatch and such? I wonder if the lack of detail is because it's a SkyWest flight where the details are in their own system. (Just speculation here.)

Their systems are separate, they have their own dispatchers. The only systems that may be shared (besides ticketing/passenger related ofc) are gating and ramp tower. At ORD, mainline runs the ramp tower (calling for push and start) and gating for mainline, Envoy handles gating for all regionals.

even with all of that, if inbounds were held up you would think the agents here in the club would have known something. I went up 3 times with 20 minutes between each time to see if they knew more than what I could find and nothing.

usually they do, this one is a bit odd with zero detail.

Its been a couple of days of operational mess due to weather. It took me 30+ hours to get from DFW to HOU.
