Why is AA adding extra segments HND-LAX
 
These are showing up on ExpertFlyer and FlightAware

For example,
2/20 AA 9600, According to Flight Radar 24 operated by N803AL-- same aircraft that operated AA170 same day??!
2/24 AA 9601, Cancelled
2/25 AA 9610, Scheduled

They cancel and add an extra section in when there are delays - it helps everyone with rebooking

Haha. My HND-LAX flight was cancelled today. Currently sitting on JL 16 as I was able to get my flight changed after the first delay notification of 3hrs popped up.

something is happening with AA’s 787s….my LAX-HND flight 4 days ago was delayed by 8hrs.
