Combine AAdvantage question

Should I have a single miles account with both my wife and my flights. Or should we have separate accounts?
We always travel together

AA does not offer the option of having a single AAdvantage account for multiple travelers, so you have no decision to make.

Got it. So how do I buy my wife's airline ticket? Or does She has to buy it separartely?

You can buy them together, but if you want her to earn miles for her flights, she'll need her own AAdvantage number which you'll enter under her passenger details.

If just your wife is traveling, you can buy hers using your account if you wish, there's an option to add her info in to your account as a traveler. She will still earn miles to her account though.
