Hmmm.. I know protection on separate tickets isn’t standard but since these are both 001- plated and all AA-operated flights, surely they’d work with me to get back to JFK by the time I’d need to catch the MEX flight?

Thanks — NYC is not a problem since I have easy access to a place to rest between flights. Tips for the flights themselves or the airports? Could I access the JFK SoHo lounge to take a shower as a BA Gold member when arriving from PHX?
If your question is how well rested you want to be, there is nothing like a proper hotel room with shower. There is also the dayuse website to book hotels for hours. I've used it and it works. Or is the question:" what lounges can I use to make the most out of this run?" |

Last summer I went here during a ~3 hour layover at PHX, easy squeezy and good food. Under 10 minute ride. https://dbg.org/visit/dining/gertrudes-restaurant/ |
