DWF AA/American Eagle arrival gates

Hello everyone,

I have a RNO-DFW flight and return from AUS that goes via DWF as well, RNO-DFW are AA flights and AUS-DFW is American Eagle flights.

I was at DFW only once and for short connection. Could you please tell me at what gates and terminals AA/American Eagle arrive? How much time and what would be the best efficient way to get from the terminal to rental car center (AVIS)? Also, if I arrive with American Eagle, and leave with AA, do I need to switch terminals?

Thanks

Terminal B. Yes, if you arrive on Eagle and go out on mainline then you will likely have to change terminals. There are a few mainline flights that go out of B but most domestics go out of A and C. The transfer is easy, either by walking or taking the SkyLink train.

For your inbound flight which terminates at DFW, the airport has a centralized rental car facility which you reach by an airport shuttle bus departing outside on the lower level. Follow the signs from baggage claim.

Shuttles run every 10-15 minutes.

Thank you. So Americal Eagle arrives at B and mainline AA flighs are on A and C?

How much time will it take to get from A/C to or E? I have 2h between flights on inbound and would like to go Priority Pass lounge at E.

A few AA mainline flights also operate out of B and many operate out of D. And some Eagle flights operate out of D or E.

C>E is very quick. About 5 minutes on the Skylink depending on which stop in each terminal. A>E might be 10 minutes or so once you get on the Skylink.

Great. Thanks!

Any recent experience with the following lounges? Do they allow you in after arrival?

Terminal E: Plaza Premium Lounge, Airside, near Gate E31.
Terminal D: The Club DFW. located on the Mezzanine Floor near Gate 27

From the recent experience - at LAS you have to have outgoing flight, can't use lounges after arrival.

I would go with The Club DFW in Terminal D. Terminal D is very nice and lounge overlooks the main part of the terminal. It's a nice view from the mezzanine level. As stated before, the SkyLink makes it very quick and easy to connect to all terminals in DFW, airside. 5 to 10 minutes will be the ride length. Mainline AA uses A, C, D, and low gates of B. You'll have the highest chance of using terminals A or C or mainline. American Eagle uses Terminal B, but some American Eagle flights use the high gates of terminal E. But E is mostly all SkyWest operated Eagle flights. So it's very unlikely you'll be out of E.

Despite DFW's size, the Skylink. makes connections because terminals rather easy. Long gone are the days of the dilapidated TrAAin at DFW
