PDB of champs in a real glass.

Wine list as shown.

Fruit was fresh and tasty.

American breakfast was nothing special.

No PDB.

I had pre-ordered the chicken enchiladas and they were fine.

No PDB.

I had pre-ordered the short rib. When FA came to take meal order it went like this:

FA: “Choice of pasta or chicken enchiladas.”
Me: “I think I pre-ordered.”
FA (scans his phone): “Are you [my last name]?”
Me: “Yes.”
FA: “I think I saw one beef, let me check.” (Steps always for 30 seconds or so then returns.). “Nope, I don’t have it.”
Me: “Ok, pasta is fine.”

And it was. But take a look at that paltry side salad!

Drink before main but no nuts.

Snapped a pic of my seat mate’s meal, but not sure what it was.

Incidentally, this was the first time I’d seen this slightly different F configuration with cup holders. Is this a reconfigured T?

Not sure what ti say, when I scan DFW-BOI for flights that leave 28 days out, that is the menu I get for your flight. Call AA and order your meal.

Were there 16 or 20 F seats? If 16, it’s one of the ex-Alaska/Virgin America A321neos

Standard snack box on this regional flight. I filled up in the DCA E club expecting something totally inedible, but this was solid as a snack. FA also came around with prepackaged nuts prior to passing out dinner and brought around the snack basket after clearing our trays. Unfortunately, that was the extent of her service. She didn't make a single pass through the galley during the entirety of the 2:10 flight aside from going through to collect our trash, during which I managed to ask for a second drink (only two of us in F received a refill). After this, she sat in the back row of the plane with the other FA for well over an hour chatting and enjoying snacks and drinks from the cart until it was time to prepare the cabin for landing.

I don't recall, but your theory makes sense. The tray tables were also different.

That's an antipasto, not a salad.

That arm rest is not standard AA, so it's a Alaska A321NEO

Recommendations? Shrimp Grits, Peppercorn Filet or Tortelloni?

PDB of choice.

Shrimp appetizer was decent; salad was fresh. Don’t recall being offered soup. Pretzel roll was hot and tasty. Pasta dish was meh. Dessert cake was delish.

As an aside, the FL was a total zoo, people sitting on the floor. Can’t believe I left the Qantas F lounge for that …

Yes, that rotolo pasta has been on the menu for a bit now, in F and J, and it’s pretty bland.

Interesting to see the continued mishmash of the old and new dinnerware. Wonder what the final plan is for that.
