MIA really doesn't like me
3 flights this week in and out of Miami and the was around 3hrs late. The second only a couple of hours, and now the third has just gone tech.
Let's see if they can source another aircraft.

Just under 3hrs late in the end. Something to do with the nose cone etc. being involved with bird strikes, so bits had to be replaced.
Then the landing in Detroit I think and a slow drive over to Chicago.
Every bag except this flight seems to have appeared so far, so probably a good hour waiting for them.
Lucky I've got a layover of 24hr. Wouldn't want connections involving MIA or ORD at present.

You flew MIA-DTW when ultimately trying to get to Chicago?

Taxi times might be long, but Ill take them over the airports previous configuration 10-15 years ago. Back then the winds of an odd direction or IFR conditions would cause 1-2 hour FAA delay programs regularly. Believe me that an additional 10 minutes taxiing beats sitting in the penalty box for hours at your origin waiting for the wheels up time.
