Qatar flight change email, "unable to rebook you"
Hello all,
My wife and I are in paid business class SIN-DOH-PHL on Dec 23 and this morning I woke up to an email saying there's been a change and to call. The second leg is the one missing in the app. Before I call I checked flights and the DOH-PHL leg is still being sold in economy but not business.
Did QR/AA oversell the business cabin and select us for downgrade/cancel? I know there are subscribers to EF that might be able to check.

Good to know, it looks like on Dec 24 there is a nonstop but not on my day the 23rd according to Google flights. I will start doing some research

I purchased SIN-DOH-PHL through AA back in February, all on QR metal. AA codeshare was like 1/2 the price of QR even on the QR planes.

I’d ask for the DOH-JFK on QR, with DOH-PHL now being AA metal it’s only useful for economy passengers who like pain and I suppose redemptions for those who don’t know any better. I would not accept a change from QSuites on QR to AA J absent like an 80% refund

I asked and received a change to DOH-JFK, which are QSuites, and even though it was a city change and the "eReceipt" shows a charge, I was not billed anything, presumably because this was due to their schedule change. I'm just not used to seeing an amount when DL does rebookings.
