Some questions about flying EI / AA through DUB

I'm giving AA via DUB a try shortly and wondered if anyone had experience of the process please.

I'll be on Aer Lingus from the UK, albeit on an AA ticket. How is the transfer process? Does GE work in the same way as when you do immigration in the US?

On a related note, the PNR for the Aer Lingus part of the ticket (booked as one itinerary through AA) doesn't come up with anything on the Aer Lingus site. I booked it 24 hours ago. Does it take a little time for the Aer Lingus PNR to be ticketed?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Dublin has a US pre-clearance facility, so you will clear US customs & immigration there before boarding the AA flight. There are GE kiosks at Dublin pre-clearance.

2. Follow the "US Preclearance" signs. https://www.dublinairport.com/flight...a-preclearance
3. Go through TSA-style security.
4. Use the GE kiosks.

Thank you. In relation to point three above, does pre-check apply or is it just 'TSA-style" as you put it?

Business class passengers have their own security lane, but the screening is the same for everyone. There's no TSA Pre.
