New 777-200ER seat layout on ExpertFlyer? [No.]

This doesn't appear to be a new seat layout to me... Perhaps I'm missing something?

I've updated the thread's title to more accurately reflect my best assessment of its intended contents.

What is new about this?

The second screen shot for the 772 layout did not include J rows 7-10. AA142 on 3/5 came back as AA141 today. The EF seat map for AA141 shows all 10 rows. Not sure what/why EF didn't reflect that unless they didn't sell those 7-10 as J? As of now, all publicly available information for the AA 772 has no plans for refurbs/reconfig. I would suspect the older 772s will retire with the delivery of more <new cabin!> 789's starting next year, along with 321XLRs to take the place of some of the routes where 788's are flying.
And yet still not sure what change OP is suggesting was made. |
Avoid 7 A/L. Sat in the latter yesterday and the rear facing seat is missing a window.

However, it isn't connected to any other seat. When my cousin and I travel together, we sit in 7 A and L for this reason; occasionally confuses the crew as to why 2 pax traveling together are intentionally on opposite sides of the cabin.

But 8 A/L for example aren't connected to any other seat either and are forward facing with 2 windows. Or am I misunderstanding your post?
10 A/L is forward facing and not connected. |

I had no idea 8 and 9 were connected. I thought only the 787's had these seats not 772's. Learn something new everyday!

The original 787-8s and the first batch of 772 refits have the Zodiac concept D seats. The later refits of the 772 have the Super Diamond seats (as do the 789s and the 2022 onward deliveries of the 788)

Then what seats are in the 77W? By far I think those are the best.
My favorite J seat out there. The newer version of the Cirrus seat on CX's a350s is even better. |
Hope they put some of the 772s to use at PHL instead of just retiring them. The A321 (non-T) first class products sucks.
