Award Travel on RAM - schedule change

Award Travel on RAM - schedule change

Hello folks -

I was ticketed by AA to travel on RAM JFK-CMN-NCE. RAM had a schedule change causing me to misconnect in CMN.

I called AA asking for the other options and the only alternative they are suggesting is to fly TATL on BA (and pay ridiculously high taxes). I have asked if they can put me on American metal (and there is availability but not at 57.5K level) and they have refused.

Do I have any recourse other than shelling out addition 1.5K USD for BA taxes?

Have you contacted AT about getting it to rebook you on another flight from CMN-NCE?

If it won't rebook, then perhaps look at the price for a separate ticket for CMN-NCE

Call again. AA can open up space on their own metal. Also check alternatives e.g. IB via MAD.

Update: called Singa call centre. AFter 4 calls and 3 hours - All resolved!

They have put me on AA TATL, and BA intra-Europe.
