Difference between Business vs Flagship Business Plus?

While searching for fares between DFW & FCO next May, the app offered Business and Flagship Business Plus. The following is shown when details is selected on the app:

Business
Meals: Lunch, Snack or Brunch
Booking code: R
Class: Business

Flagship Business Plus
Meals: Lunch, Snack or Brunch
Booking code: R
Class: Business

Other than a higher fare, what is the difference between the two? In case of IRROPS, do pax on Flagship Business Plus get priority over Business?

Business Plus is business plus Flagship First class check in, First Dining and an extra checked bag.

Onboard and AFAIK, for all flight related purposes, they are identical.

Spot on. What's interesting is that they're selling this ex-DFW, which has no FFCI, so in this case it's only for FFD.
OP, what was the price difference?

Post It's FFCHI + FFD + FL + 3B + AL "where available"

From AA:

With Flagship Business Plus, customers can enjoy Flagship First Check-In, receive a taste of our Flagship First Dining and relax in our Flagship Lounge prior to their departure.
Flagship Business Plus also provides a third complimentary checked bag and access to the Arrivals Lounge at LHR.

Cheers !

Weird that they tossed the arrivals lounge verbiage in there as regular J gets access too.

If wanting the extra baggage allowance it is not a bad deel. $500 vs $400 for just the bag allowance. Getting the dining and one of 2500, 3500, 4000, 4500 or 5500 extra miles/LPs for $100 isnt too bad

Also, Flagship Business Plus fares might have more flexible voluntary cancellation policies depending on the route and the fare structure.

you do not lose if you actually want the key value benefit of an extra bag ime. paying $400 for the extra bag vs $500 for the bag , flagship dining and (in your case holding EP status ) of 5500 miles/LPs - it would seem that you would win

Hopefully nothing will get loosed
