Business Extra, no credit due to segment exchanged? (Used fli

Business Extra, no credit due to segment exchanged?

I flew a 4 segment trip DFW-LHR-BER and return
Originally I received BE points for the first segment, flown on AA.
The others were AA Codes hard on BA
The other segment did not show up
I submitted a request for credit
Now it shows all 4 segments as disqualified due to "segment exchanged"
Part of the ticket was paid by flight credit, but since the original booking never got points, I don't understand why the new ticket would not get BE credit?
