When you earn status can you save choosing the SWU ?
 
Hey guys, this is just a question about maximizing the time I have the SWU. I hit my upgrade, and I saw I can choose from a few items, one being the SWU. Can I simply wait until I need the SWU to actually register for it, this way if I can wait all the way until Dec which when I want to use it, if it doesn't clear I still have an additional year past that date, is that not correct?

Does this make sense?

It says when you need to select your benefit by, I believe it's either the 30th or 31st of December. Then you have another year to use it after that.

Actually all mine say choose by March 30th, 2023.

Not only can you wait, you should wait until you have a specific need because there’s no point starting the expiration timer early. They deposit instantly.

My new ones for 2022 expire March 30th as well. The ones I earned in 2021 need to be selected by Dec 30, 2022. So a much longer time.

But if you select the 2022 earned on in March - you have until March 2024 to use -
