Bag transfer SWA to AA?

Bag transfer SWA to AA?
Short of doing carry-ons, I don't suppose there is an easy way to get my bags from SWA to AA is there?
Flying LIH - HNL on SWA and then HNL - DFW on AA. If I've got checked bags I'm going to have to get them from SWA and then recheck on AA?
And a related question, assuming I only have carry-on bags, online check-in should be enough to get me on my flt. from HNL to DFW?

if you just have carry-ons, then online check-in is enough. You will not have to check in physically at the airport. You will likely have to go through an agricultural inspection at HNL, but they just put your bag through a scanner (and usually the line is short).
