Airport check in
We are flying SEA-GYE tomorrow, 9/1. Our SEA-MIA flight is on AS and our MIA-GYE flight is on AA. When I went to check in for the AA flight on the app, it sent me to Verifly to load the necessary docs for entry to Ecuador before it would let me check in. After entering the pertinent info in Verifly, it told me that it does not support this trip. So, I can't do OLCI for AA643 since I can't complete the necessary docs in Verifly. Here's my questions:
- Will AS be able to complete the check in process for the AA flight tomorrow morning at SEA and print our boarding passes for AA643?
- If not, would an AA agent at SEA be able to complete the check in process and print our boarding passes for AA643? I'd prefer to have the boarding passes before we leave SEA in case of flight delays.
- The AS flight will land in terminal E in MIA and our GYE flight is departing from Terminal D. I see on the MIA map that we can walk from E to D airside, but will we need to show our boarding passes for the AA flight to do so?

Sort of. The TA who booked the flights for our group has an overall PNR for the entire trip. But there are also separate PNRs for the AS and AA flights. However, both flights show up as the same trip in the AS app. It's a bit confusing.

This is normal, any ticket involving mote than one airlie will have a PNR for each airline, although sometimes its just behind the scenes. AS will be able to check you in. AS-partner international tickets are common.
