Upgraded T-Mobile Internet on AA
https://www.t-mobile.com/news/un-carrier/coveragebeyond
Anyone here happen to know anything more about this as far as which flights will launch first? Is it dependent on route, provider, or what?
I've got T-Mobile but on an older business plan with the $10 add on, so it will be interesting to see if I get this or not.
To keep Un-carrier customers connected in-flight, T-Mobile is working with in-flight Wi-Fi providers to give customers free connectivity WITH streaming all flight long on the biggest U.S. airlines. Delta, American and Alaska Airlines will launch first on select flights starting June 21. United Airlines will follow.

All for $70 for 2, and that includes tax. I suspect I might have to upgrade for the months I need it.
I don't fly that much any more, but I will be going to Europe at the end of July..... after my July TM service date... luckily my phone service billing dates are not based on the calendar month.

It actually still works on any flights equipped with Gogo. I use it often on flights such as OKC to ORD (these are Skywest operated CRJ-700s). They also work on A319s sometimes.

I'm hoping that we see more details about these enhancements soon.

I guess I'm lucky that around 50% of my flights on AA has Gogo internet, but I'm typically on RJs.
The additional flights with free Wi-Fi is great, but I'm way excited for the 5GB of free 5G data. Even with the "max" plan, trying to browse the web in Germany was like pulling teeth.
