Upgraded T-Mobile Internet on AA

https://www.t-mobile.com/news/un-carrier/coveragebeyond
To keep Un-carrier customers connected in-flight, T-Mobile is working with in-flight Wi-Fi providers to give customers free connectivity WITH streaming all flight long on the biggest U.S. airlines. Delta, American and Alaska Airlines will launch first on select flights starting June 21. United Airlines will follow.
Anyone here happen to know anything more about this as far as which flights will launch first? Is it dependent on route, provider, or what?

I've got T-Mobile but on an older business plan with the $10 add on, so it will be interesting to see if I get this or not.

I am interested if applies to the Magenta 55+ plan. We already have Paramount+, Netflix Basic (you can pay to upgrade), and AppleTV+
All for $70 for 2, and that includes tax. I suspect I might have to upgrade for the months I need it.
I don't fly that much any more, but I will be going to Europe at the end of July..... after my July TM service date... luckily my phone service billing dates are not based on the calendar month.

It actually still works on any flights equipped with Gogo. I use it often on flights such as OKC to ORD (these are Skywest operated CRJ-700s). They also work on A319s sometimes.

I haven’t seen the link for it on any gogo powered aircraft. Is it hidden somewhere?

Not correct. If your aircraft is Gogo equipped, you still have it. I had it on PBI-DCA last week.

Please read OP's link and stop discussion of the old Gogo/T-Mobile link up. This is a new product from T-Mo.

I believe the 4 full flight limit is for the regular Magenta plan. I think there is no limit for Magenta MAX plans.
I'm hoping that we see more details about these enhancements soon.

True but therein lies the problem...getting a gogo operated flight is like finding a unicorn (or C1).

FWIW, I had full flight T-MOBILE internet DFW-GNV last week on a gogo e-175. As I remember, I went to purchase internet and the T-MOBILE offer was there. During the signup, it showed a code on my phone that I had to enter which probably can only get through to T-Mobile phones.

Didn’t try streaming.

I guess I'm lucky that around 50% of my flights on AA has Gogo internet, but I'm typically on RJs.

The additional flights with free Wi-Fi is great, but I'm way excited for the 5GB of free 5G data. Even with the "max" plan, trying to browse the web in Germany was like pulling teeth.

Most all E170/175s and CR700s/900s should be Gogo equipped as should all A320s and some A319s. So not as rare as your think.
