with mileage redemption levels at an all time high 5K miles is useless relatively speaking.

I've obtained a bunch of 6k mile flights. This brings the miles per dollar close to two, and I'll be shifting 2k of spend per month onto the card for those moths, I've been meaning to move my cellular bill over there and that's 2x, so I should actually be a bit over 2 overall.

out of genuine interest where does one fly for free for 6000 miles? What is the cost of this flight?

EWR to EGE, 6k miles or often like $350+ I do this about every 1-3 weeks over the winter, book up a lot and fly only when there's good snow, cancel the ones I don't use. I have places in both Vail and NYC.

I wish I had those miles. I am 6k short to get our desired flights.
