"Choose a different flight or fare" error?
Hello all,
Flying to Australia from Europe very soon and have been open to flying out of different cities to get there. Go on the AA website and see multiple airlines and routings to get there with available seats on miles but when I try to advance in the process I get the "choose a different flight or fare" error locking me out of that fare. Thought it was an issue of the itinerary not actually being available but I've discovered the error pops up for every fare on every date from Europe to Australia. Any advice? AA says they don't see the fares on their end and I'm not sure how else I could deal with this issue. Thanks. |

AA doesn't really publish fares Europe->Australia, as far as I can tell. There are full-fare F/J/Y published, but I doubt they're really bookable. You wouldn't want to anyone, it's like $7000 r/t for Coach. You're much much better off booking one of the dozens of carriers that do publish real fares in this market. Why are you trying to book via AA (and via the USA, I presume) anyway?
