I have dealt with flying roaches in NYC, in an office no less. They were huge!

You should see the Palo Verde beetles we get in the PHX area during monsoon season. The first time I saw one of those fly up to me I just ran inside. Totally harmless, but I did not know that at the time.

It’s Texas. Some roaches are faster than others. Then smashing them hard enough is another problem. Tough little cookies.

What’s with all the saunas in Finland ?

Sauna is the only Finnish word that made it to the English language as far as I know. They are serious about those things.

I’m sure the lounge dragon called Terminix immediately to have the club sprayed.

Was your roach Dallas Texas style booted out the AA Flagship Lounge? Did the Roach have a proper Flagship Ticket? Most roaches travel in a class that is below Flagship First, Business Class, or Economy Class and they often try to sneak into Upper Class on Virgin Airlines. Roaches have their own VIP special connected underground corridors throughout the airport and the world. Certainly a naked roach is dress code violation and deserves to have his Flagship Lounge privileges revoked.

When I sit and stare at my bathroom floor I see roaches eyeing me.

Gives one a chance to imagine that they are lost or perhaps got into the wife's chilli the night before.

You are in the south - they are pretty normal

I wouldn't even bat an eye.

Man at least it didn't fly.

I was in the Dominican Republic at the Hard Rock cafe, when my wife spots a roach, I see it and I grab a baseball bat that I had bought with the Hard Rock logo on it, I go after the roach and thought I smashed it with the bat, when the roach flew. My wife ducked for cover and I jumped on the bed screaming like a little girl. Hotel Security came but I never complained about the roach, the fact they were there for my screaming was embarrassment enough.

Maybe I spoke too soon. Are we really sure the bug didn't just walk in with a boarding pass and a Citi card?
