I flew SDF to MIA 2 weeks ago (Sunday after the derby) and was 5th on the upgrade list - guess a lot of elites traveling that weekend.
Anyway - seated in MCE and I ordered a vodka tonic from the FA. Delivered. 30 mins later, as the FA passed, I asked if I could pull another. He sort of double checked me, pulled out his phone, said - Mr Jet Ranger - Im so sorry, I meant to come and say hello and thank you for your custom. Why arent you up front tonight? I was like - no space. He said - anything you want its no problem. More drinks? Sure - Ill keep em coming. And he did.
Ive had worse drink services in F recently, than I got that evening.

As a follow-up to my earlier post I reached out to CR on Tuesday and - much to my surprise - had a reply yesterday. While they didn't state what the policy was they did apologies for "the confusion over the complimentary beverages in MCE" and gave each of us a $75 flight credit as a gesture of goodwill.
Flying DFW-SMF yesterday, PPro sitting in MCE, the FA started the process of charging me for a mini of wine. She got half way through, then send something along the lines of "oh, just forget it. It's supposed to be $9, but I won't charge you." So there's some ambiguity, at least in that one FA's mind.

In the 6 flights I've taken in MCE since booze was brought back in the back, I've been given a 'preemptive double' once. And on several of the others, when I asked for more later in the flight, they told me that, under both the MCE and EXP benefits, the first single was complimentary and anything above that requires payment.
1 free comp alcohol drink + snack in Y if EXP/CK vs MCE unlimited drinks, but no free snacks unless EXP/CK.
Complimentary drink & snack in economy for EXP & CK (consolidated)
