Anyone knows the maximum permitted miles (MPM) AA allows between HKG-IAD?

How about the maximum permitted miles flying (i) via Australia and (ii) via Europe?

Personally don't wanna fly such a long and indirect way but totally lack of options in light of current flight bans in Hong Kong.

Don't think you will find anything valid via Australia (on a single ticket). BA has fares with LHR routing, but they look to be quite a bit more than AA fares via NRT on CX and there's limited availability until May due to lack of flights.

I only know that Singapore Airlines is selling one way Exodus ticket out of HKG and the price is much lower than I expect.

Those are percent exceeding the MPM. So, if you exceed the MPM but are less than the 5M then he get a 5% surcharge on the base fare. That goes all the way up to 12225 which is 25% more than the MPM and is the absolute maximum you can do for the routing and would incur a 25% increase in the base fare.
