It’s AA1498 the 0625 MEX-MIA routing, so *very* much a breakfast flight. But indeed, happy for new options ex-Mex (although never upset at repeated items since the catering ex-Mex is just so much better than what AA usually provides)

CLT-MEX Breakfast

- Original options were cheese omelette (listed as vegetarian) or salmon plate.
- Chose omelette.
- FA apologizes and said catering boarded "lunch" by mistake and replaced omelette with enchilada, which wasn't vegetarian.
- FA very apologetic and made a last ditch effort to get catering to load vegetarian means, which they did not deliver.
- Not being vegetarian, I was happy with the new option and excited for a lunch service.
- Turned out the enchilada was still a breakfast cater.
- Looked ugly but was very tasty, had some kick to it.
- Also came with warm croissants and biscuits (jam available.)

I was on board flight 2168 from SBA to DFW yesterday, July 14th. Departure and arrival were pretty much as scheduled. The PDB consisted of whatever you wanted. Surprisingly enough, everyone including myself had water. The aircraft was an A319 so there were only eight of us in first class. For lunch, I had pre-selected the salad with grilled chicken. It was pretty good and quite satisfying. All in all, another pleasant flight on AA.

I had the above salad this week dfw-phl. It was good and I enjoyed the guacamole with the crackers. I found the radish to be odd and unusable though.
I hate egg so I removed it and covered it with a napkin.

I pre-ordered the Asian Veg meal on DEN-ORD a few days ago. I was surprised to even have an option, as it's an 888 mile flight and was coded as "refreshment".
Entire dish was served cold. Pita and hummus was fine, as was the quinoa. Didn't like the grape leaves. Asparagus was literally uncooked and hard as a rock.

I've had this combination several times now between LAX and DFW. However, I'm pretty sure for me that green stuff was hummus, not guac.
