my drink was served in an abnormally small cup and FA said it was because they could not get a supply of the regular ones. This meant that basically I was drinking gin on the rocks as there was maybe a splash of tonic at best. I think there’s a simple solution to this: bring back glassware!

These were also common on some longer mid-cons, at least at one point. I absolutely remember them from my BOS-DFW flights 2018.

Rogue FA. Everyone knows a good LUS FA can get you at least three drinks on RDU-CLT

My most recent AA flight (two weeks ago) LAX-LIH they only did a single drink service with the silly cold dinner tray, and I'm fairly confident it was a half pour. No further beverages offered for remaining ~5 hours of flight.
Reminder: because great is what they're going for.

I guess one drink per hour is better than what Alaska is doing. I have friends who are flying LAX-OGG tomorrow morning in premium economy on Alaska which is advertised as free drinks. Turns out for the entire 5 hour flight you only get One drink! AA isn't looking so bad now, huh?

Last Saturday evening after takeoff from ORD-LAX, the FA came around for drink orders. I asked for a Woodford double and he said we don't serve doubles. I replied that it was not a problem on the flight out. That was met with an icy stare.
He really did not need to worry about anyone getting over-served since after picking up the "snack" remnants, he retreated to the galley where he spent the final two and a half hours of our flight.

On a 2 hour flight out of CLT this past year I managed to get two rounds of triple Woodford (FA put two in the cup and handed me another full nip). Thankfully I had someone to drive me home because I had a good buzz going on.
