Terrible. They run RJs from CMH-MIA and back all day too. Can't stand 2.5 hours of torture and will usually route through LGA or JFK to avoid. At least they're not quite as awful as the old Super 80 runs to DFW.

my last trip from LAX - BOS:
1. Double Woodford's on the rocks in a glass.
2. Proactive single left at my tray table by FA. That earned my FA an outstanding service recognition ticket.
3. The proactive double on the rocks left at my tray table was just the ticket for a nap.
Kinda felt bAAd for the young lady seated next to me, I'm sure my snoring woke her up.

For the record I had nothing to drink prior to the flight and I get plenty of "practice" I'd need way more than 2 Bloody Mary's in 2 hours for anybody to even think I might be acting like I'd had too much to drink. I'd send a complAAint but all she has to do is say I was acting like I'd had too much to drink and that will be the end of it. Thanks for the responses.

FA'S can say whatever they want. If you question them, they will have you arrested upon landing.
I had an American flight attendant tell me that the "FAA would not let them sell all their first class seats" one time.
I knew better--hubby works for the FAA . FAA promotes SAFETEY and does not tell an airline they can or cannot
sell first class seats. Laughable!
Just like ticket agents--they lie too.
You have to know before you go, so you can make educated decisions. IMO.

Good question. Not sure what the OP would do, but I've accepted that flying AA during the pandemic means interacting with employees who are occasionally great, and sometimes creative, imaginative, or lazy when it comes to "policy". I'm grateful that there are usually other airline options available to me which still permit me to fly within Oneworld, and I hope AA is able to bring themselves back up to a better standard soon

My normal response to a post like this is that the OP should have ordered a cup of water every 15m. However, the OP indicates that the FA was apologetic and offered to get anything non-alcoholic. Probably not related to a lazy FA. IMO, the likely explanation is that the FA recently dealt with a drunk bozo on board and now is hyper-vigilant about over-serving. It's a bummer and annoying as hell when it happens, but there's nothing that can be said or done while onboard. And any email to CS is going to fall on deaf ears.

That is most definitely not a hard rule.
Had a flight a couple weeks ago in F where the FA gave me 3 bottles when I asked for a Woodford and Diet and I was leaving Vegas at night, so you can take a guess as to whether I was completely sober or not lol. I didn't even want that many and slow rolled drinking them, don't even think I finished it all.
On the way there a different crew completely loaded me up too.
