BXP2 use for multiple pax

Need some advice here. Have an upcoming flight thats booked into Y, so decided to redeem some BXP2s for the upgrades for all 3 of us. Talking to AA, they have to divide the passengers into separate record locators to apply the BXP2 certs.

My conundrum is, the other 2 pax are 11 and 12 years old. Is there a risk in doing this? (flight is US-UK)

The only real risk IMO is that either a schedule change or IRROPS will send the minors onto other flights and you'll have to scramble (potentially with low availability) to get everyone back on one flight, and you'll have to deal with Meeting Services if you get AAgents who say they can't touch your tickets.

But it's a low risk and one that I would take myself.

Risk of having issues with this is just about as low as AA deciding to revert their single body fleet IFE removal project this year. Just keep track of all PNRs and watch for oddball schedule changes.

Thanks.

In the event of IRROPS, we would be just as easily stuck (if there is no flight with 3 open seats).

I'll keep an eye out and get the upgrades requested. BXP2 sure beat BXP3s!

And it's in those moments of IRROPS when there are only two seats available that Antarius1.1 and Antarius1.2 will learn which one is the favorite offspring.

They're my SO's nephews. Antarius would be the one sitting waiting for another flight.
