Service to Montevideo
AA will apparently return to serving MIA-MVD but only three days a week and the service will cease in early April. Will another major carrier enter the market?

AA's service isn't scheduled to start until late December so who knows if that will actually stick or just get pushed out.
And this is Uruguay, a long thin route from the US, whose borders are still largely closed to foreigners, so I can't imagine other carriers jumping at the gun to enter this market.

The border open next month (November) for visitors who have been vaccinated. And currently the nation is doing an outstanding job of curbing the virus.

I know you can book flights using AA/Gol, but I don't think you can use miles for a free ticket. Correct me if I am wrong. And, I'd be happy to be wrong.

Eastern sucks. They left people stranded many times. And they canceled their operation until November.
I do hope AA starts flying sooner to MVD. Copa is not bad but the stopover is a pain.
It’s weird because flights to Uruguay would be probably full, although not in business class where they make most of the profits.
Copa flights are full and they are flying twice a day now and are adding another daily flight.
