AA J amenity kit flight 38 MIA-LHR

Has AA really sunk to these cheap lows? That’s it. You’re looking at it.

I’m looking forward to asking the flight attendant to please not serve my meal right away as I’d like to enjoy my plastic cup cocktail first.

IMO while these are worse than the previous This Is Ground ones (which are great as cable pouches), they're better than the old plasticy "Cole Haan" bags they used to have. Coupons for DS & Durga are also much appreciated.

What's the stupidest, least substantive thing you can complain about?

Those "Cole Haan" bags made good shoe bags and laundry bags. I have several of them I use for those purposes.

The rest of the amenity kits are just fodder for the trash bin. Pointless things, regardless of the branding/contents.

Usually. I still use a LH F bag as my toilet kit 15 years later and my parents use the AA F dot pattern tablet cases.

I usually collect the open ones in the cabin near me (that are destined for trash), take em home, fill them and donate them

What more would you like? The headphone ear protectors the old kits had?

Mouthwash? Hand lotion? Lip balm? I feel like those are required. Maybe someone stole them?

Is there an eye mask? (Or are those just socks?)

perfectly. The flight attendant said no problem at all I’ll keep it in the oven and whenever you’re ready just let me know.

there was hand lotion. No toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, mouth waste, or lip balm.

Not including mouth waste seems like a positive.

Much nicer than the FA I had on MIA-LHR last month that scoffed at me when I didn't know exactly what red wine I wanted when he came around and immediately moved on to the next seat without saying a word, as if the 2 seconds it took me to pick up the menu and look at the wine list was somehow disrupting his impeccable service flow.

And I agree the amenity kit is getting into "why bother" territory...

the flight attendant was friendly but the entire service was so rushed for everyone else. It was nice having warmed nuts again.

The picture you posted shows toothpaste and a toothbrush. Did you overlook them?
