Not quite the same though, since AA has suspended all alcohol service in domestic Main Cabin -- of which MCE is a part. Let's see what happens when AA resumes alcohol service in Main Cabin.

Today is the day the ban of main alcohol in the main cabin is supposed to end. Does anyone know if they are actually going to lift it? I've been searching online but haven't found any announcements. I really miss the option of having a drink in those main cabin extra seats.

I'd love to be wrong, but it ain't happening anytime soon. The steward/esses love the lighter workload and blaming it on masks and safety makes for good theater.

Ha! Please do! I'd love a definitive answer on this. I find the lack of an announcement one way or another quite odd.

On aa.com it now just says non alcoholic drinks for cattle class. It doesn't mention anything about a temporary suspension.

I'm guessing this has quietly become the permanent policy.

I'll continue not feeling bad about bringing in my own solitary mini-bottle.

Well then again AA is not exactly johnny on the spot when it comes to quickly updating their website.

I think they still have MD-11's listed in "our fleet".

Do you mean spirits? In Y beer and wine is available gratis on International flights. No spirits though--you might catch covid so the stopped that.

Only if you're poor. The risks don't exist in F.

Yes. That's what irks me about this. I'm all for public safety but this smacks of elitism.

They know their high dollar pax (Paid F or elite upgrades) would leave in droves if they made F any worse so they serve alcohol there but are continuing the run towards a ULCC in the rear of the plane.

FA's basically toss a bag of pretzels at you and run back to the galley.

Spirit serves alcohol
Frontier serves alcohol
Allegiant serves alcohol
Sun Country serves alcohol

Seems to me that WN is the only one they can try to copy.
