Crediting to AA and using BA lounge access

Hello, I am a ba Gold and a Hyatt globalist. I was offered a fast track to platinum pro and will take advantage of it. This will give me platinum pro for 3 months. However during this I would like to access the admirals club using my BA gold. How would this work do I just show up and present my ba gold card, will they know I have access. Additionally I will be flying with a freind to New York soon and I would like to make the process of getting into the lounge as seamless as possible. If I scan my boarding pass their computer will tell them I don’t have access.

I do this all the time - crediting flights to AA and using my BA Gold to get flagship checkin, lounge access etc. Never been an issue once in all the time I have used benefits of both programs so you won’t have any issues. Just scan your AA BP at the lounge entrance, then show your BA card, or the card in the app, and the lounge agent will note your BA number in the computer and let you in. Cheers.

Are you a Jul-Dec year and with BA with extension already in hand? I also got the offer, but not sure what the BA situation will be.

If you are BA gold and don't requalify by 8th May 2022 with the requisit TPs and number of qualifying flights then you will drop to BA silver on the 1st of July 2022

My collection year ends Feb 8, so really not sure where to credit my upcoming AA flights. With the promotion I could get EXP on AA with two business class transcon roundtrips.
