More happy days: passenger assaults cabin crew on MIA-JFK flight
Not sure which flight number, but it happened on Sunday. According to FAA, there have been 1300+ so far this year.
Off-duty NYPD cop was on board and cuffed our happy passenger....

I found a vid of the Brooklyn slugger. At first I thought I was watching an outtake of "Hollow Man" with Kevin Bacon.

I see/ observe situations like this almost weekly. Especially the repeat calling of the flight attendant button to pick up garbage.
I have changed my style and have chosen to stay out of any conflict at any cost at the airport or on a plane. Unless a life is a stake (active shooter/ terrorism act). This is normal behavior at the airport and on the planes today.

JFK/MIA would have been at the top of my "guess list." Unfortunately, the "meltdowns" are seemingly happening more often and getting worse. We need stiffer penalties but in the current climate? If someone told me that by 2025 each commercial flight will have a security person onboard because it has gotten so bad I'd think that very, very plausible.

Priceless - we need a Stickie entitled Gracious Conduct on a Plane. I took one look at her nails and it told me all that I needed to know. I am assuming that those were her knickers on her head in those photographs and not someone else's? I flew for more years than I chose to disclose here - but I come from the age of mini-skirts and no one ever tried to pull my skirt off. That is one thing that will certainly not happen now - they're far more likely to offer me a blanket as one does a horse.

Does this mean she isn't charged with assault? If the government isn't taking these incidents seriously they will continue to increase in numbers and get worse in intensity.
