Multiple Fights Broke Out At Miami / MIA Gate D14 today 25 Apr 2021
Apparently there was quite the brawl in Miami today, according to View from the Wing: https://viewfromthewing.com/multiple...ilmed/Multiple groups of American Airlines passengers brawled at the Miami airport on Sunday near gate D14, which many travelers will know as by the elevators up to the American Express Centurion lounge. The event was captured on film, with multiple passengers taking out their phones to record.
However despite one video shared to social media lasting a full minute and a half, there didn’t appear to be many people trying to break up the melee. Nor were the many law enforcement agencies resident inside the airport quick to respond, although near the end of the video an American Airlines employee does appear to try to encourage peace.

As a bystander, it's a tough decision whether to get involved or just document it.
A few years ago I jumped into a situation to stop someone from stabbing someone else. ended up getting slashed in the leg in the process after pinning them down.

“Perhaps the most fitting thing about all of this be that it all took place right in front of the Urban Decay store.” That last line really sums it up. Guess it’s better it happened in the airport rather than in flight. Besides arrests I hope they’re on a permanent no fly list.

Beating the lock...
nice to see that two of the perps simply took their bags and walked off after that incident
No surprise this was in FL of course.

LOL! Thanks for the Monday morning entertainment.
I think my favorite part is when the group in the foreground realize boarding has commenced they stop pummeling the guy into the ground and calmly pick up their luggage to go board. Maybe this is a business opportunity for someone. Put in a little squared-off plexiglass room where fights can be held for the entertainment of the waiting/boarding passengers. Might help reduce the gate lice...
I'm betting LAX, but let's see.
Also, IBTL.
