Beware, many flight changes as of 18 Apr 2021. (Did June schedule just go final?)

Almost all my travel is PHL-LAS and I try very hard to fly widebodies. They seem to have finalized the widebody schedules through about August 17. I'm not sure if this applies to all narrowbody schedules also.

Is this coming Mothers Day weekend the next Schedule Shakeup? I have a trip that completes after 8/17/21, beyond the end of the last shakeup horizon. First legs before 8/17/21 got some reschedules.

Schedule changes had been done mid-month for the month following, so mid-May they would change July schedules. However, mid-April they changed at least some scheduled through mid-August. Most of my flights are on widebodies, so I wasn't really focusing on what narrowbody schedules were changed. I wouldn't count on late August and September being finalized as early as mid-May. But this is of course pure speculation.

Well, my July changes came early - AA seems to be ceding LAX-SFO to AS codeshares. The last AA operated flight on my scheduled SFO-LAX is at 1:46 PM.
I suppose my best course of action is to get a travel voucher and book directly with AS? Not sure if getting them to put me on an AS flight they are selling on the website is possible, or even desirable vs. booking directly.
Thoughts?

I don’t think a full schedule change has been loaded for post mid-August (I’m still seeing placeholder flights for certain routes), but I did get a schedule change notification today for a flight on 8/21.

All else equal, I'd go with AS (E175s) vs. AA (CR7s), plus you avoid the high probability of a shuttle ride to/from the Eagles Nest at LAX. My last trip through there involved a 15 min wait upon arrival just to get onto the shuttle due to capacity restrictions. There was a long line of people due to a bunch of flights that also arrived at the same time.

Absolutely 100% reason not to fly American Eagle whatsoever into LAX. Main line AA or AS only to LAX.

You also earn the minimum 500 EQMs anyways, so you aren't giving up much except a few RQMs for booking on discount AS tickets.
Side note, why can't AA actually send you notifications when your flight changes. I've received 1 such email when my flight moved two minutes. But on a three and a half hour change, silence.
