Any chance you know the Gate number it is closest to or even just near? Will be the easiest for me to locate... If you happen to know. Thx

Btw, only reason I need to even do this I am trying to avoid the Max 8 up from Miami on AA. I have to leave MIA no later than 230 (to have a good 60-75 minutes at FFD) and no later than 4pm (to make the AA flight to LA). Jet Blue happens to have a 3:15pm so I decided to go with that to avoid AA's 345pm Max 8. I'm sure I am being unnecessarily paranoid and seems like I will also lose a good 20-25 minutes getting from T5 to T8, even with the shuttle.

Well when looked it was $2780 for the MIA-LAX 5pm 772 (the only 777 currently). For the moment there isnt a 77W westbound just the eastbound red eye. I dont know how but scored a $1099 fare JFK-LAX and thats in F. Its been $2700-$3600 every time I was looking. The last flight out, at 845pm came up cheap and on the day I needed. The last flight had been 930pm w just Snack (still decent amount of food) but the 845pm is full dinner and sundaes). If there was a decently priced 777 from MIA I would have taken it but with the 11am and 130pm 77W's not flying at the moment it was just the 5pm and it was really $$$

Haha maybe, I will finally get to check out DFW FFD this week. I really like DFW & MIA FL's but LAX & JFK not a fan at all.

More into trying all the FFD's .. Especially this new MIA menu that I havent had a chance at trying yet so now I can hit that for 2 hours before the B6 flight up.

Has anyone tried to pop over to T8 to use the lounge when flying B6 domestically? I have an Admirals Club membership, but sometimes the timing / price of the direct B6 flight is better; I'm wondering if flying B6 means I have to give up the lounge or if I can get the best of both worlds

Do you have lifertime membership? If not, then unless it is an AA codeshare, there wouldn't be lounge access entitlement iirc

It recently changed in the last round of benefit enhancements. Non-lifetime AC members can now access the AC while flying on a B6 marketed & operated flight.

Austin to Dublin Ireland

I am travelling from Austin to JFK on jet blue operated by AA and then connecting on to Aer Lingus to Ireland. We arrive in to JFK Terminal 8 and depart on Aer Lingus Terminal 5. Am I able to use the new Terminal connection bus?

Are you checking bags on separate tickets? The bus is behind security. I'm not sure if they check for AA/B6 boarding passes and will only let you on if you have one.

Bags will be checked in Austin all the way to Dublin & i will also have the boarding card for the connection too. The code share is B6 4374 Austin to JFK. EI0106/B6 6806 JFK to Dublin.

I suspect that they will let you take the bus with any T5 boarding pass.

JFK AA to B6 bus transfer - sterile area T8 to T5

I have an hour layover in order to connect from an AA flight to a B6 flight. Is that enough time, given the inter terminal bus connection?
