Fare type INX1C1S4 - refundable in instance of cancellation/change?

Just trying to figure out if fare code type INX1C1S4 is refundable in the instance of operator cancellation or flight change +/-4hrs?

Struggling to find the details, not sure if anyone will know the ins and outs? I assume that's standard with any fare, but the basis seems rather strongly worded is all.

Thanks

you’ll have to look at the fare rules. Generally an I fare is not refundable unless AA cxls flight or has a significant schedule change. Per their waiver, there are no more change fees. You would receive a credit for any invol cxl.

It states 'non refundable' at every avenue.

That's fine, I'm looking for cheap not flexible.

So long as it's refundable in cancellation situation - I assume that's an airline's duty?

There are no published fares excluded from the carrier's policy on schedule changes. You are entitled to a cash refund in the event of a 4+ hour change in departure or arrival times or change from nonstop to connecting service.
