International Amenity Kits Handed Out on AA 5 DFW -> HNL today!
A flight attendant just came by to hang out international amenity kits to J passengers on today’s DFW to HNL flight. This was a nice surprise. I haven’t received one of these in over a year!

Well they may not be hot, but mixed nuts are also back in J today!

I have a feeling there won't be hot nuts ... ever again. Sadly.

If you miss the AA premium cabin nuts (including the Hawaii mix), you can buy them here: https://www.greatnuts.com
It is also a family-run, woman-owned business in Arlington, TX that, in my opinion, is worth supporting. (NB: I have no affiliation with the company, other than being a satisfied customer.) |

Well if AA hadn't gone and banned electric blankets, you could have brought some tin foil, wrapped the nuts in foil, and warmed them in an electric blanket.
thanks, Doug. |

Nice treat. Maybe surplus stock due to limited overseas flights?
haha I was just about type this. |

Not sure if these are one-time off events or permanent positive changes since even before Covid, AA didn't provide amenity kits to Hawaii
|
FWIW the Aloha nut mix that AA used to serve on Hawaii flights was not warmed anyways, probably because the dried pineapple in the mix would not handle warming well.
|
I'm wondering if this would work for nut warming on a plane ...
You would just need a ceramic cup. |
AA 5 (DFW to HNL) - Are amenity kits back?
Heading to HNL in First on AA (seat 5A) ans was curious if anyone knew whether amenity kits are distributed? I saw a post indicating they were as recently as a few months back. Insights welcome!
