Pillows/Blankets in in Widebody J/F?

Apologies if this has been covered in another thread but I could not locate. Are they still providing blankets & pillows in lie flat F/J? I am in J on the 77w sunday and curious as it will help me pack. Any info would be appreciated!

I am on MIA-LAX which is technically transcon but I know can fall into grey area. Any idea if that counts?

Yes, MIA-LAX should count if sold with 3 classes of service. Usually it is, when operated with 77W equipment.

On the 77W yes, the A321 is a crap shoot.

It actually went back to 77W earlier this month and starting in November will be 2x77W.

Just noticed that AA is now labeling the MIA LAX 77W as Flagship Business and Flagship First, but in reality, the soft product will be identical

I wonder if/when the soft product will ever be differentiated again between F and J. Covid has changed the industry.....potentially forever.

It's been the same on AA for all practical purposes for years.

I did the 77W MIA-LAX two months ago in 1A (treated as J for upgrades) and there were no pillows or blankets as confirmed by the FA

That flight on the 77W should have blankets and pillows. Also at least when I flew it last week it was a 3 class plane because I was in J as Group 2. (Poor people in Group 1 had J paxs running them over to board). On the return the blanket/pillows weren't provisioned until we were onboard. I think the FA was just making up an excuse. Last night one FA claimed there would be no sandwich/cheese plate DFW/GEG saying "we only cater food for eastbound flights" and 30 minutes later another FA comes around with them on a platter. I have to wonder about certain FAs.

Maybe catering messed up because even last month when LAX MIA was operated by 772, we had duvets and pillows in J

My 77W was swapped in from the 772 but still not sure why they didn’t load pillows and blankets.....wasn’t the nicest rest.....

Sounds like an error to me. That flight should have pillows and blankets in both F and J. Was there an amenity kit offered?
