EXP: Highest Avg. Segment
 

To break up the monotony of “COVID sucks” and “airline service is limited“, I propose something lighter.

This applies for last or this year; though, given most don’t have access to last year’s data, I suspect we’ll mainly discuss this year. What’s you’re average segment length?

I’ll start (this year):
49,572 miles / 27 segments = 1,836 m/s

Most of my flights are booked in Y so it’s largely accurate. I have some paid J, but also booked carriers that credit ~1/2, e.g. Royal Jordanian, so I’ll assume it balances out.

Anyone else?

My stats below (including award tix)

255000 miles over 151 segments = 1689 m/s. Its probably bumped up a little due to some J tickets.

Yeah my EQM is quite inflated compared to BIS, with 2x for a few J, plus 1.5x for QR J YUL-DOH-MLE-DOH-YUL.

But currently 1,969EQM/leg. 62,998 / 32.

Depending on the goal of this thread, I'm either winning or losing for 2020: 39,971EQM/28segments= 1427.53m/s

If youre in J, then longer is better. If in Y, probably shorter :D

Only one trip MIA-LAS since March, and I'm at 55,699 EQM and 24 segments = 2320EQM/Segment. A couple MIA-LHR and MIA-GRU in premium economy really boost that average!

Have one more paid trip in Dec to requalify for EXP, another MIA-LAS in (paid) F.

2019: 4,516 EQM/Segment
2020: 4,558 EQM/Segment

I’m at 122,565 EQM on 25 segments, an average of 4,900 EQM/segment. I’m guessing my 2018 and 2019 averages were higher, as I didn’t have as many domestic segments.

3588 EQM per segment in 2020.

56222 Miles - 14 segments = 4016 miles

Haven't traveled since the travel ban in March. Not EXP but if anything opens up I might take a trip to hit it, as I've already qualified on EQD. 47,788 EQM / 8 segments = 5,973.5 miles/segment

2019: 6798 EQM/segment
2020: 5556 EQM/segment

2019: 4393 eqm/eqs
2020: 5024 eqm/eqs

2019: 159,347 miles/42 segments = 3,794 mi/seg
2020: 73,607 miles/15 segments = 4,907 mi/seg

Have had three trips so far ... 2 in J to GRU and 1 MR in F to SJC
