Lots of 60k F award availability to/from LHR through EOS

Seeing tons of 60k first class Web Specials to and from LHR all the way through July 2021. I know they've run specials like this to HKG and GRU, but haven't seen that low to LHR.

I've been tracking pricing across the network and it looks like they "flipped a switch" and lowered the price to 60k pretty much everywhere on every day.

and if you're ex-LHR, it's the same taxes as J and you can use the Concord Room as well as First check in, connect through a US gateway and use First Dining at JFK/DFW/MIA/LAX

You can cancel with an automatic re-deposit of miles if booked before September 8.

I've been tracking pricing and nationally the base price has been:
66k
60k
I need a good rate for Euro travel, but can't book for 2 more months as we are cruising from Ravenna, Italy in late August, and then from Genoa 9 days after that one ends. I can't decide on which airport to use at this point because it is not possible to book yet, and have no clue what will be available. Last year we flew Lufthansa to Frankfurt, then VCE and returned MXP-FRA-DFW. This year, I am considering MXP or Bologna (because how can you not consider an airport named after Marconi?, and it is closest to Ravenna, not counting Fellini Airport in Rimini which would take too many connections)
Interesting that Royal Caribbean switched to Ravenna next year instead of Venice.. It labels the port as Ravenna (Venice). The ship was scheduled to go out of the real Venice this month, we rebooked a similar cruise for next year. Cruising MSC Grandiosa as they extended my Casino comp earned on Musica (Feb 2020 trip in South America) until December of next year. It was due to expire next Feb. It will be our first whirlpool suite on a cruise ship.

IMHO, it’s not worth the extra miles for F if flying eastbound from the East Coast....flight is too short (6 hours; sometimes just under), and you’re asleep most of the time. Westbound daytime flight (7 hours or so) might be worth it. And of course, LAX-LHR in F is totally worth it if you can find it!!

For 60K though, its likely to be hardly any more than J. in which case - in current times, potential extra social distancing and more prompt service for that post-takeoff nightcap might help. In normal times, the difference in pre-flight dining is also a plus.

The UK is open, albeit subject to a 14-day quarantine. I’ll be able to report on my quarantine experience later this month!

If they are running the daytime eastbounds, then F is excellent on the way to LHR.

Since my BA1 in Nov was cancelled, now I'm booked LHR-DFW-ORD in F for 65K miles each. Not a bad deal when you consider J is typically 57.5K.

In the latest schedule shuffle BA have dropped the daytime JFK - LHR. I think the AA flight is still scheduled.

The days I checked for F at 60,000 miles from LAX, SEA and DFW all had a stop such as ORD or JFK, etc. This was the first few days of July, 2021.

Yes, I was tempted to do LHR-JFK-LAX in F but LHR-LAX non-stop is many hours quicker. It's worth the extra miles, but not the extra stop - not just the time, but chance of IRROPS much higher.

Lot more chance of EUR300/600 compensation though

UK is open to Americans now, as noted subject to quarantine for 14 days or the entirety of your sub-14 day stay.

Not F but I found quite a few DFW - MAD J web specials for 50k in the spring. Seemed pretty good for me considering it's a 9-10 hour flight

Another potential positive outcome of IRROPS would be getting rebooked onto BA F.
