Maybe he/she thinks no one will notice. Or just doesn't care because getting fired anyway. We'll be seeing more of this "go ahead and complain, I don't care" from those who are losing their jobs in October.

I would say you can report it to the government but the US government won't do anything.

OP have you (a) contacted AA directly or just come to rant? and (b) considered that the FA may have a legitimate reason not to wear a mask?

We don't know if the OP actually brought it up or not, or whether bringing it up with other FAs could have any effect whatsoever other than an uncomfortable confrontation and said FA still not wearing a mask. All this is irrelevant really.
The fact is that the FA was not wearing a mask contrary to what AA promises about "travel with confidence".

OP did you take pics or write down the name of such FA?

If that's the case one can assume that all FAs are free to wear one or not, just like pax.
Nothing about "Traveling with confidence" on AA if so.

Before judging, what is American Airlines' policy on facemasks? Are there exemptions for crew? That's what the answer is here. Funnily enough in the UK, Police Officers on duty, London Underground staff on duty, and ones who have medical exemptions are exempt from the requirement.

Maybe they have a medical reason (which is none of yours/ours business) for not doing so.
Maybe if you're that sensitive to the topic, travel isn't for you right now.
