New Safety Video - April 18, 2020

View From the Wing posted the new AA safety video today. Seems dull and silly if you ask me. I thought the old one was fine.

Eh, I saw it before it was removed.

What’s with the stupid office chairs as seats again?

CalAlumnus13 Apr 18, 2020 9:21 am

Darn, I missed it. I’ll miss Tara.

But they are not standing 6 feet apart! Where's the face masks?

Unless you exclusively fly widebodies or A321T, you'll be pleased to know that the FA's will be doing the safety demo's on all your flights once the Oasis project is complete.

Really? I cannot bear them. Cringeworthy and far far too long.

The video was changed when we got the new uniforms

Do they have pockets specially made for the Barclay's applications? :p

Oh god, it's sooo long, and after even a few times I was done with it.

It isn't a safety video, but AA has a new (I'm assuming?) commercial out, "You are why we fly." It looks fairly recently done:

Very nice commercial. Reminiscent of the ones developed after 9/11. Both linked here: https://www.avgeekery.com/american-a...-came-tragedy/

Yes, these are nicely well done. But NOTHING will ever beat the post-9/11 campaign. That, combined with the music used in those commercials, has to be the most well-made ad campaign an airline has ever done. As in goosebumps worthy.

I think they bled the same theme over into the TWA merger commercials (two great airlines, one great future).
