Thank you for posting this information.
IF my ticket is booked for an April 24 departure and a May 5 return does this waiver apply? Or must all travel be completed by April 30th?
Thanks

We have US-CDG via CLT web saver business ticket for travel in a few weeks (end of March) returning mid-April. We know we will not be going in March and want to change to some time September / October - but cannot get through to talk to someone. My question is that we are seeing no award availability in the timeframe we are thinking of.... anyone have any luck rescheduling award travel?

Not out of the ordinary for the Admirals Club staff to authority above and beyond the staff on the phone or the staff at the gates. Not a function of the current situation. Pay for premium service and receive premium service.

Brain freeze, atm - - if I have a cancelled ticket value of $700 and I want to purchase a ticket for $300, am I able to apply the $700 credit (the portion I need)? Or can I only apply the full value, so therefore needing to wait for a more expensive ticket purchase?

I'm struggling with this. We booked flights to Hawaii in early May last year for travel next week, at a cost of US$5k. The way I read the rules is that if we change next week's booking, we have to re-book and fly by early May 2020. There is no way this is all going to be resolved by then. Does this mean we effectively lose everything?

I purchased a ticket on March 1 at noon eastern time so I'm glad AA removed that March 1, 4:30pm central language.
My ticket was $700 plus $100 for for Main Cabin Extra. Will I receive a refund of the $100 back to my credit card and have $700 to use in the future? Or will I have $800 to use in the future?
I ask because when the aircraft changes and they boot me out of MCE because I'm only Gold, I receive a refund of the MCE on my credit card.
Thanks!

I purchased a 1-way AAWARD ticket in late Feb (for travel in 3 days) and a RT AAWARD ticket in early March (for travel in a week).
Called AA today and tried to get to an agent without entering the PNR the IVRS, got transferred to a recorded message saying to call back later.
Called back, this time entering the PNR, and got transferred to the "we'll call YOU back...after more than 2 hours"
Got a call back 2h18m later, spoke to the nice agent who redeposited the miles for the 1st ticket, put me on hold for about 5 min then came back and redeposited the miles for the 2nd ticket.
No fees, "one-time courtesy".
So pleased.

So, I dont think Ive been in this situation before, but...
I was booked LAX-HKG-CEB//MNL-HKG-LAX which was on a mix of AA and CX. That was amended to LAX-NRT-MNL-CEB, to which we have already flown and are currently in Manila. We were supposed fly our return on QR MNL-DOH-LAX. As of this morning, we were booted from our dive resort as part of the lockdown in the National Capitol Region.
So, unless Im mistaken, should we be focused on dealing with QR, or stay on hold with AA? (Currently at the QR City Ticket Office in Manila)

Waiver when only the outbound flight falls in April?
Similar situation here too; outbound Apr 27 inbound May 1st. Has anyone managed to get through to AA to find out whether this waiver applies when only the outbound flight is within the stated waiver dates?
