Yes, that's why I would need a gate pass. Was wondering if anyone had a way to share (privately) the phone number for the Admirals Club at SFO. I can use my inbound BP and show an outbound, same-itinerary flight, but just need something to get me through security. So it would require an AA agent to escort me or provide gate pass (which I know typically gate passes aren't a thing, but since this is more of a logistical issue based on SFO construction/layout, I was hoping they would allow it).

Actually, I have an experience that might be helpful. I was flying BOS-LGA-ORD-(AY)-HEL-(AY)-NGO and AA in Boston was only able to give me boarding passes for the AA flights. However, I asked in the LGA Admirals Club and they were able to print me (AA) boarding passes for the Finnair segments. Once I got to Chicago, Finnair paged me and replaced my AA passes with blueberry print AY ones. You may find an AAgent (or Alaska ticket agent) willing to print you QR boarding passes that will let you get through security.

I'm guessing that you get there a decent amount of time before the QR desk opens so you can't pick up your QR boarding pass immediately...

If anyone knows how to contact AA in SFO directly, let me know!

Some day this might eventually eliminate the need for a gate pass:
The SFO website has long indicated a future T1-T2 connection, as well as T1-A. It will be be particularly useful for lifetime Admirals Club members.

10 pm on a Wednesday and Club is about half full. Feels crowded. It's not a big space at all. You still have to go to bar for beverages (including water) and utensils. Hello AA, California has reopened!!!

In SFO AC now. I just asked and the showers not open for use yet. Still have to get cups and plasticware from the bar. All the food items are either individually containered or wrapped. The avocado toast was operational this morning though, which was nice. My first time in this AC, it's very nice and quiet with a good view onto the tarmac.

Because of the orientation, the view is limited to the gates and a small segment of tarmac between T1 and A Terminal. Unlike the former AC (or DL SkyClub), there are no runway or bay views. The space is in my opinion a downgrade from the former club.

I used the terminal for my first time last week. It is a bit of a long walk if you come into gate 23 to the exit but that's really no big deal. I was very impressed by how amazing the terminal looks with its high ceilings and natural light and also the availability of concessions.
The Club, now the third Admirals Club I've visited in SFO, was also great though its location makes the views right now (of International Terminal A) a little boring.
Lower floor entrance
I'm amazed by how large the Club is and how much seating there is
Bar area, glad to see some Anchor Beer on tap too.
Of course once you exit you're dumped into a dingy basement area and have to head up to the Airtrain or down to baggage. That feels like the SFO I remember.

FWIW...non-adult drinks were free pour from the Coke Freestyle when I was there on the 14th.

based on these pics (thanks btw!) it does appear to have loads more seating than in T2 but the space is definitely narrower by 30%(?) judging from the layout of seating? in T2 when you turned left from reception, you had a four-set by the windows then a row of doubles then the tables against the wall. so the pic above shows two "lines" minus the row of tables against the wall and thats it...plus loads more seating in the other direction.
havent been of course bc covid, but despite my rationalizations, it does LOOK a wee bit smaller.
