JL / JAL award showing available on BA but not bookable on AA
 
BA shows business saver award availability for A=>B=>C. AA does not show availability online, and 3 separate phone agents couldn't see/book it either.
But AA does show saver business availability for the individual flights, ie A=>B and B=>C. Don't want to book these legs separately as that costs 10k more miles.
Is this a known issue and are there workarounds?

Hang up, call again, ask them to search for it like searching for a revenue ticket rather than award, in class U.

If that doesn't work, see wiki:
If JL & QF are showing availability, but AA can't see it, try calling the Australia AA center (https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/30715035-post810.html) as it may be a point-of-sale issue
