Interesting, is there even enough demand? True LGA offers some connections and even connections to JFK (although I can't see many business travelers wanting to make that schlep between LGA and JFK). As I side note I recently flew from DFW to BIL. Both loads were light with F less than half full. I had to wonder how long that sole flight to BIL might be around.

6 AM departure -- no thank you! I'd still rather connect in Dallas and leave at a saner hour. The number 1 reason I love SWO over driving to OKC is because I detest all of the super early departures at OKC.

The E175 is nice though, especially for upgrade chances.

I am flying to LGA from OKC in October. My return just had a bad schedule change giving me a 4 hour connection in CLT. I will call on Feb 3rd and get them to change me to the n/s. Now I need a bad schedule change on the outbound so I can get that one changed to the NS as well. I have flown on the MIA flights a few times and they have all been half full at most. I am hoping this flight does better. My flights to DFW, ORD, and PHX have always been full. I will be taking my first PHL and CLT flights this summer.

Interesting that this comes right after Southwest kills OKC-DAL (and Vonlane picks it up).

I think the NYC market was the last AA hub that OKC didn't have a nonstop flight to.

For my trip in October, I was able to get my return trip changed to the N/S due to a major schedule change giving me a 4 hour connection in CLT. I asked about the outbound legs and stated (honestly) that the n/s wasn't available when I originally booked. The agent stated that she couldn't change it for that reason alone, but to call back if there is a schedule change. Since it is via DFW during the last bank of the day, it is unlikely I will get a significant schedule change, unfortunately.

Glad to see it is on a E175. Anytime I can get an E175 flight, I'll take it over the other torture tubes they are now flying.
