Glitch: Extra "Complimentary" SWUs in Account 1/1/2020 (now clawed back)
 

Long-time EP here who more than my usual historical EQMs/EQDs in 2019. I had already received the SWUs to which I was entitled for surpassing the 100k and higher thresholds but noted extra SWUs in my account today listed as "complimentary." Still an EP (no CK upgrade), but have personally not had this happen (or heard of it happening to others) in prior years.

Did this happen to anyone else? Any insight?

Happened to me, too.

I have 4 from requalifying, 2 from the 150K EQM, and 2 more that appeared on Dec 31.

Checked and I have the 4 for requalifying, 2 for the 150,000 mile threshold, and 2 more for a total of 8.

2020 is at least my tenth consecutive year of being EP.

Random thought... any non-EPs able to check if they too received 2 SWUs?

New EP here - account shows the 4 I'm entitled to.

Maybe AA doubled the two extra at 150,000, either in error or by design.

Must be a mistake, AA actually giving EXP a bonus like that would be awesome.

I don’t know about it being a mistake, because the additional ones are specifically labeled as “complimentary,” whereas the ones earned through the published rules are labeled “Executive Platinum.” (I’m referring specifically to how they’re listed in the app wallet).

No extras for me, just left with the two remianing from my 4 from requalification. :(

While indeed 2 of them are labeled "Complimentary" - those "coincide" with me reaching 150K (and I believe I had to select them from a bunch of choices) - while the two added 31 December are labelled "Executive Platinum" - I wasn't too far from 200K - can't remember the specifics but recall thinking of flying BA - to ZRH rather than LX to make 200K but I definitely hadn't reached 200K by the end of the year.
