Overseas ticket?
It may have gone to manual review which may take some time. Perhaps the agents are used to seeing that message for tickets sold to others. Yes, I know you indicated that you ticketed for yourself.
My question is why are you canceling the tickets, unless you are flying very soon?

You might want to read Ticket or Award status: On Hold, On Request, Pending, Purchased and Ticketed and its Wikipost. Overseas tickets for some time off can spend more than 24 hours “on request” or “pending”. I’d wonder at a week, and your “under review” is curious and at this rate may bring about even further questions.

I would have left the first ticket you booked alone, sometimes it can take time,
as others have said, booking and canceling really just adds to being a mess.
As long as you saw the ticket as pending... it was probably pending..
I know sometimes, we just want it done now.. but not everything works that way.
